Di tengah kondisi New Normal saat ini, kinerja yang dihasilkan dari setiap anggota tim menjadi lebih krusial. Begitu ada anggota tim dengan kinerja yang menurun, dampaknya akan langsung terlihat dan memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja tim.

Biasanya pemimpin akan mengajak bicara dan memberikan masukan ataupun coaching kepada mereka. Namum beberapa pemimpin seringkali melakukan salah satu dari cara berikut, berbicara terlalu frontal, sehingga anggota tim menjadi sakit hati dan dalam hatinya menolak semua nasihat yang diberikan atau berbicara terlalu berbunga-bunga sehingga anggota tim malah bingung, akan maksud yang disampaikan oleh mereka. Kedua cara tersebut tidak akan memberikan dampak positif baik bagi anggota tim tersebut maupun kinerja tim.
